Sections show a benign lesion composed predominantly of mature adipose tissue arranged in lobules, intimately admixed with native fibrous and vascular elements of the surrounding soft tissue. The adipocytes are uniform, without atypia or lipoblasts. No mitotic activity, necrosis, or infiltrative malignant features are identified. Findings are consistent with a lipomatous hamartoma.
