<p class="ql-align-justify">Lymph node cores shows caseating granulomas with some epithelioid cells and scattered Langhan's giant cells. Picture is consistent with a tuberculous etiology. No evidence of malignancy.</p>
<p>Generalized lymphadenopathy.</p>
<p>Tissue cores up to 1.3 cm long, totally embedded.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Rt. iliac lymph node core biopsy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Caseating granulomatous lymphadenitis, consistent with tuberculous etiology</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy. </strong></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>COMMENT</u></strong></p><h5 class="ql-align-justify">Confirmation of etiology by microbiological studies and skin testing is recommended. </h5>
