Ascending colon mass causing full bowel obstruction.
Right hemicolectomy containing a segment of ileum (5 cm long), appendix (7.5 cm long), cecum/ascending colon (13 cm long), omentum (15x5x2.5 cm), and mesenteric fat (14x5.5 cm). Opening reveals a solid, firm, creamy mass (7x4x3 cm) located 6 cm from the proximal and 7.5 cm from the distal margins. Fifteen lymph nodes were dissected, the largest measuring 1.7x 1.5 cm.
