<p class="ql-align-justify">Lymph node shows preserved normal nodal pattern and hyperplasia of the lymphoid follicles which retain active and intact germinal centers with tingible body macrophages. There is associated inflammatory cell infiltrate in subcapsular areas of lymph node with extension into perinodal fibrofatty tissue. No evidence of specific granulomas. No evidence of malignancy.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Intestinal obstruction. Operative Finding<strong>:</strong> Intussusception and multiple mesenteric lymphadenopathy.</p>
<p>Lymph node measured 1.2x1x0.5 cm, totally embedded.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Mesenteric lymph node, excision biopsy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Reactive follicular lymphoid hyperplasia with chronic non-specific lymphadenitis and periadenitis. </strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy.</strong></li></ul>
