Appendicular lumen is full of neutrophils that extend into wall in between the mucosal associated lymphoid tissue together with lymphocytes and plasma cells. Such infiltrate extends to periappendicular fat. Impacted fecolith is noted. No evidence of specific granulomas. No evidence of appendicular tumors.
