Endometrium shows hyperplastic endometrial glands, is non-secretory, it is formed of slightly branched glands lined by 1-2 layers of cells. Stroma is cellular. No evidence of complex glandular pattern. Some of the hyperplastic endometrium are seen embedded within superficial myometrium. Cervix shows Nabothian cysts with mild endocervicitis. Both ovaries shows fibrotic cysts wall showing partial lining by polygonal inner theca and outer granulosa cells with mild luteinization of these cells. Fallopian tubes are unremarkable. No evidence of atypia or malignancy.

Panhysterectomy specimen; uterus measures 8x6x4.5 cm with myometrium having thickness of 2.3 cm, and endometrial thickness of 0.4 cm. Cervix is 2.3 cm, long. The Rt. and Lt. ovaries measured 2.5x2x2 cm and 2.7x2.3x2 cm. Both ovaries are almost entirely replaced by cysts. The right and left fallopian tubes measured 5 cm long, each.
