Sections show 15 lymph nodes, 5 of which contain metastatic deposits of papillary thyroid carcinoma exhibiting characteristic architectural and nuclear features. The metastatic tumor demonstrates capsular invasion with extranodal extension into the surrounding perinodal adipose tissue. The remaining 10 lymph nodes show preserved architecture and are negative for malignancy (5/15 positive).
