Gall bladder wall shows mild fibrosis with mild mucosal infiltration by lymphocytes, plasma cells and abundant foamy histiocytes. Glands exhibit focal cystic dilatation and appear to be entrapped within muscular coat (Rokitansky-Aschoff sinuses). Focally polypoid lesions were seen formed of hyperplastic mucosal glands of the same type. No evidence of atypia or malignancy.

Gall bladder measured 6x1.5 cm, showing velvety greenish yellow inner lining, shows multiple sessile polyps ranging from 0.1x0.1 cm up to 0.2x0.2 cm. Lumen contained 5 stones yellow in color. No gross tumors.
