Gastric mucosal fragments showing extensive surface ulceration with underlying infiltration by a poorly differentiated malignant neoplasm arranged in solid sheets and discohesive single cells. The tumor cells are markedly pleomorphic with hyperchromatic nuclei, prominent nucleoli, and frequent mitoses. Main possibility is poorly differentiated gastric adenocarcinoma. Marker study (LCA, CD20 and CK) is recommended to exclude the other less like possibility of large cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
Gastric mass on the lesser curvature.
Soft tissue fragments collectively measured 0.7 cm, totally embedded.
