Placental tissue composed of chorionic villi and decidua, predominantly characterized by massive, widespread acute hemorrhage and dense fibrin deposition that extensively disrupts the decidual stroma and intervillous spaces. The involved decidua exhibits significant ischemic necrosis and structural degeneration secondary to the bleeding. Adjacent chorionic villi show focal ischemic changes, compression, and varying degrees of degeneration. There is no evidence of severe acute chorioamnionitis or gross morphological anomalies in submitted material.
