Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Polypoid lesion composed of irregular, branching and focally endometrial glands lined by 1-3 layers of non-secrertory columnar cells. Separating stroma is abundant and contains bundles of smooth muscles. No evidence of atypia or malignancy. Polypectomy: Adenomyomatous polyp. </p><p class="ql-align-justify">Non-secretory endometrium formed of branching glands lined by 1-2 layers of cells. Stroma is cellular. Picture is consistent with anovulatory cycle. No evidence of endometritis. </p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Patient underwent a myomectomy with dilation and curettage for a delivered prolapsed myoma</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Single, solid, and rubbery soft tissue mass measuring 3.5 x 3 x 2 cm. Additionally received are multiple separate bloody pieces of soft tissue measuring 2.5 x 2 x 1 cm in aggregate.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Myomectomy with D & C biopsy</u>:</em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Adenomyoma, negative for malignancy. </strong></li><li><strong>Disordered proliferative endometrium (anovulatory cycle).</strong> </li></ul>
