A well-circumscribed, nodular neoplasm composed of intersecting fascicles of bland, uniform spindle cells with wavy nuclei and pale cytoplasm. The lesion exhibits a biphasic architecture with alternating hypercellular zones and loosely textured myxoid areas, with formation of Verocay bodies. The intervening stroma contains dense collagen and prominent thick-walled, hyalinized blood vessels. There is no cytological atypia, tumor necrosis, or significant mitotic activity.
