Smears shows unremarkable squamous cells, satisfactory for evaluation with present endocervical / transformation zone components. There is associated mild inflammatory changes without identified clue cells. Monilial hyphae and spore forms are identified. No evidence of viral or trichomonal infection. No evidence of atypical or malignant cells.
3-month history of post-coital and continuous mild vaginal bleeding, found on examination to have a suspicious cervix with a large erosion and contact bleeding.
