<p class="ql-align-justify">Smear is hemorrhagic & show a dense population of neutrophils with some macrophages and lymphocytes as well as many cell debris. No evidence of specific granulomas. No evidence of atypical or malignant cells.</p>
<p>Neck abscess.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">One smear was prepared and stained from submitted 5 ml creamy brownish fluid.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Neck swelling, aspiration cytology:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Hemorrhagic with suppurative inflammation (abscess).</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignant cells. </strong></li></ul><p><br></p>
