<p>Sections from ovarian tumor show complete replacement by a hemorrhagic structureless tissue. Subcapsular part of mass show ghosts of bland looking spindle cells suggesting an underlying fibroma. No evidence of viable tissues and no evidence of malignancy.</p>
<p>Adnexal mass.</p>
<p>Soft mass measures 1x0.7x0.5 cm.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Adnexal mass, excision biopsy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Consistent with strangulated fibroma with hemorrhagic infarction.</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
