<p class="ql-align-justify">Submitted liver biopsy shows malignant hepatic carcinoma formed of irregular thick trabeculae of large polyhedral cells with intervening sinusoidal vascular channels. Tumor cells have abundant pale eosinophilic cytoplasm with large vesicular nuclei with prominent nucleoli. There is moderate anaplasia with active mitosis. Rest of biopsy shows cirrhotic nodules.</p>
<p>Left hepatic mass.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Tissue cores up to 1.1 cm long, totally embedded.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Liver mass, guided core Biopsy: </u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Hepatocellular Carcinoma, grade 2 on top of liver cirrhosis.</strong></li></ul>
