Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Smears show unremarkable squamous cells, satisfactory for evaluation with present endocervical / transformation zone components. There is associated moderate inflammatory changes. Monilial spore and hyphae are identified. No evidence of viral or trichomonal infection. No evidence of atypical or malignant cells.</p>
<p>Cervical erosion and recurrent vaginitis</p>
<p>Two unstained smears were submitted labeled as posterior lip ectocervix and internal os, both were stained with pap.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Pap smear, conventional cytology:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Satisfactory for evaluation.</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for intraepithelial lesion or malignancy (NILM).</strong></li><li><strong>Organisms: Moniliasis.</strong></li></ul>
