<p class="ql-align-justify">Polypoid lesion composed of hyperplastic endocervical mucous glands and covered by focally ulcerated columnar endocervical epithelium. Stroma is fibrotic and vascular and shows focal infiltration by inflammatory cells. No evidence of atypia or malignancy.</p>
<p>Cervical polyp.</p>
<p>One soft tissue piece measured 0.6x0.5x0.3 cm, totally embedded.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify"><strong><em><u>Cervical polypectomy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Inflamed hyperplastic endocervical polyp. </strong></li><li><strong>Negative for atypia or malignancy.</strong></li></ul>
