Nodal tissue showing near total loss of the normal nodal pattern and replacement by a rather polymorphic infiltrate formed dominantly of histiocytes, activated small and
intermediate-sized lymphocytes and few plasma cells with many scattered mono, binucleated giant cells. Lymph node shows incomplete fibrous septa. Possibilities include Hodgkin's disease, Hodgkin's-like anaplastic large cell lymphoma, peripheral T-cell lymphoma (NOS) and T-cell rich, large B-cell lymphoma (TCR-LBCL). Immunophenotyping (CD15, CD30, CD20, CD3, EMA, OCT-2, MUM1) is needed.
