<p class="ql-align-justify">Some of the submitted fragmenst show ulcerated gastric mucosal fragment with related infiltration by malignant large epithelial cells, arranged in small groups and having irregular hyperchromatic nuclei and eosinophilic or clear cytoplasm. Such cells form solid sheets with few areas of glandular differentiation and focal signet ring morphology. Anaplasia and mitosis are moderate to marked. </p><p class="ql-align-justify">Immunostaining was done with appropriate positive and negative controls and revealed:</p><p class="ql-align-justify"><strong>CK : </strong>Diffuse positive immunoreactivity in tumor cells.</p><p class="ql-align-justify"><strong>CD20 & LCA : </strong>Negative in tumor cells.</p><p class="ql-align-justify"><br></p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Referred paraffin block for immunostaining of gastric mass on the lesser curvature.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">One referred paraffin block and one H&E slide of previously submitted case with pathology number 1489-2026.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Gastric mass, endoscopic biopsy, referred paraffin block for review and immunostaining:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma, grade 3. </strong></li></ul>
