Submitted material showing partialy ulcerated epithelium with atypical infiltrate composed of sheets of large round cells with vesicular nuclei, sometimes hyperchromatic and active mitosis. These sheets are separated by stroma rich in small lymphocytes. Main possibilities are undifferentiated carcinoma and diffuse large cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Marker study is recommended for definitive diagnosis (CK, P63, EBV, CD20, CD3, CK5/6).
