Diagnosis
<p><strong>CD20: </strong>Stained very occasional cells.</p><p><strong>CD3: </strong>Stained scattered cells.</p><p><strong>CD68:</strong> Stained many inflammatory cells.</p><p><strong>CK: </strong>Stained only intact surface epithelium and scattered entrapped epithelial cells within inflammatory infiltrtae.</p><p><strong>Ki-67: </strong>Labeled about 7 % of cells in hot spots. </p><p><br></p>
<p>Palatal ulcer.</p>
<p>One referred paraffin block and one H&E slide of previously submitted case with pathology number (1297-2026).</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Palatal ulcer, biopsy and immunostaining:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Active inflammatory ulceration with exuberant inflammatory cells infiltrate.</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy.</strong></li><li><strong>Recommended for follow up. </strong></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>COMMENT:</u></strong></p><h5> Follow up till complete subsidence of inflammatory process and if inflammation is progressive or resistant, complete excision of the ulcer is recommended to avoid missing of underlying unsampled more serious pathology. </h5>
