<p class="ql-align-justify">Endometrium is non-secretory and hyperplastic, it is formed of branching glands exhibiting moderate crowdness and lined by 1-3 layers of cells. Glands show focal complexity of their contour. Stroma is cellular. No evidence of atypia or malignancy. Some of these hyperplastic glands are seen embedded within superficial myometrium. Mometrial tumor is formed of whorly bundles of mature smooth muscles separated by a fibrous stroma. Cervix shows napothian cyst with mild endocervicitis and squamous meraplasia. No evidence of atypia or malignancy.</p>
<p>Heavy menstrual bleeding for one year, with uterine mass.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Total hysterectomy specimen; uterus measuring 11 x 8 x 7 cm, cervix measuring 3 cm. The uterine wall measured 3.5 cm in thickness, and the endometrium is 0.5 cm. Also received aseparate, large fibroid mass measuring 11 x 8.5 x 8 cm, having solid rubbery tan grayish cut section.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Total hysterectomy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Moderate adenomatous (complex) endometrial hyperplasia. </strong></li><li><strong>Superficial adenomysis. </strong></li><li><strong>Leiomyoma. </strong></li><li><strong>Napothian cysts with mild endocervicitis and squamous meraplasia. </strong></li><li><strong>Negative for atypia and malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
