<p class="ql-align-justify">Sections from both submitted fragments show benign non-capsulated dermal tumor formed of storiform bundles of proliferating myofibroblasts. Skin is acanthotic. No evidence of malignancy and excision of lesion looks complete.</p>
<p>Lower back mass.</p>
<p>Two soft tissue fragments, the first measured 2.5X2X1.5 cm, the second measured 2.5x1.5x0.7 cm partially covered by skin ellipse 2.3 cm. Both were totally embedded.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Lower back mass, excision:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Dermatofibroma. </strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
