Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Polypoid lesion composed of hyperplastic endocervical mucous glands and Nabothian cysts, covered by partially ulcerated columnar endocervical epithelium. Stroma is fibrotic and vascular and shows moderate infiltration by inflammatory cells. Areas pf reserve cells hyperplasia are seen. No evidence of atypia or malignancy.</p>
<p>Cervical polyp.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Cervical polyp received as 2 soft tissue fragments collectively measured 1.3x1x0.7 cm, totally embedded.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify"><strong><em><u>Cervical polypectomy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Inflamed hyperplastic endocervical polyp with Nabothian cysts and focal reserve cells hyperplsia. </strong></li><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Negative for atypia. </strong></li></ul>
