Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Cellular tumor composed of proliferating spindle cells arranged in intersecting fascicles and whorly bundles, featuring focal nuclear palisading. Tumor cells exhibit elongated, blunt-ended nuclei with mild anaplasia and low mitotic activity.</p><p class="ql-align-justify">Immunostaining was done with appropriate positive and negative controls and revealed:</p><ul><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>CD117</strong>: diffuse positive reaction in tumor cells.</li><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>DOG1</strong>: negative in tumor cells.</li><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>SOX10</strong>: negative in tumor cells.</li><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>S100</strong>: negative in tumor cells.</li><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>SMA</strong>: diffuse positive reaction in tumor cells.</li><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>H-Caldesmon</strong>: negative in tumor cells.</li><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Ki-67 </strong>labeling index about 2%.</li></ul>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Referred block for immunostaining of biopsy from pelvic mass, previously submitted and diagnosed as cellular spindle cell tumor on 22 January 2026 (pathology number 390-2026).</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">One referred paraffin block and one H&E slide of previously submitted case with pathology number 390-2026.</p>
