Smears showing squamous cells mainly parabasal with few intermediate and superficial cells. Some maturing metaplastic squamous cells and endocervical cells are seen. Smears are satisfactory for evaluation. There is associated moderate inflammatory changes. Monilial spore and hyphae are identified. No evidence of viral or trichomonal infection. No evidence of atypical or malignant cells.
