Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Focally ulcerated mucosa with related capillary and endothelial proliferation and dense infiltration by lymphocytes, plasma cells and macrophages. Capillaries are arranged in lobules with patent as well as obliterated lumens. No evidence of specific granulomas. No evidence of atypia or malignancy. </p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Left lateral border of the tongue lesion.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Mucosal fragment measuring 2.5x1.8x1.7 cm, showing ulcerated area measured 1.7x1.3 cm, totally embedded.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify"><strong><em><u>Left lateral border of the tongue lesion, excision biopsy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Pyogenic granuloma</strong></li><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Negative for malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
