Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Myometrial tumor is a benign leiomyoma formed of whorly bundles of mature smooth muscles separated by a fibrous stroma. No evidence of malignancy.</p><p class="ql-align-justify">Endometrium is hyperplastic and non-secretory. It is formed of moderately branching glands separated by cellular stroma and lined by 1-2 layers of cells. No evidence of complex glandular pattern. No evidence of atypia or malignancy.</p>
<p>Menorrhagia and fibroid uterus.</p>
<p>Two specimens were received:</p><ol><li class="ql-align-justify">Uterine fibroid: One well circumscribe solid, rubbery, whitish mass measuring 10 x 8 x 7 cm.</li><li>D &C biopsy: Soft tissue pieces measuring 1.5 x 1.2 cm in aggregate.</li></ol><p class="ql-align-justify"><br></p>
<p><strong><u>Uterus, myomectomy:</u></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Leiomyoma.</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy. </strong></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><em><u>Endometrial Biopsy: </u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Moderate simple endometrial hyperplasia. </strong></li><li><strong>Negative for atypia. </strong></li></ul>
