Endometrium is non-secretory, it is formed of focally branching glands lined by 1-3 layers of cells. Stroma is cellular. No evidence of complex glandular pattern. Islands of these endometrial glands and stroma are seen entrapped superficial within myometrium. Cervix shows a Nabothian cyst with mild endocervicitis. Both ovaries shows corpora albicans and Rt. one shows cystic follicle. Fallopian tubes are unremarkable. No evidence of atypia or malignancy.

Panhysterectomy specimen; the uterus measures 11.5x7.5x5 cm with a myometrial thickness of 2.5 cm and endometrial thickness of 0.6 cm. The cervix is 3.5 cm long. The right ovary measured 2 × 1.5 cm and contained a unilocular cyst measuring 1.3x1 cm . The left ovary measures 2.5x1.5x1 cm. The right and left fallopian tubes measured 5 cm and 6 cm in length, respectively, and are grossly unremarkable
