<p class="ql-align-justify">A benign well encapsulated tumor formed of small and large follicles full of colloid and lined by unremarkable cuboidal cells. Adjacent thyroid tissue is compressed. No evidence of hyperfunction or malignancy.</p>
<p>Rt. thyroid mass.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Rt. thyroid hemithyroidectomy specimen measured 6x5x4 cm, with intact capsule. Serial sectioning revealed almost complete replacement by a rubbery nodule measured 5.5x4x4 cm.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Rt. Hemithyroidectomy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Follicular adenoma.</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
