<p class="ql-align-justify">Smear is cellular showing a population of small, atypical cells arranged individually and in loose clusters. These cells exhibit high nuclear-to-cytoplasmic ratios, scant cytoplasm, and hyperchromatic nuclei. Focal nuclear molding and occasional angulated/elongated nuclear forms are observed. The background contains amorphous proteinaceous material and rare mature lymphocytes.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Brain tumor with associated hydrocephalus.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">One smear was prepared and stained from submitted 3 ml colorless fluid.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF), Cytology:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Positive for Malignant Cells; consistent with Small Round Blue Cell Tumor (SRBCT).</strong></li><li><strong>For definitive typing, biopsy from any detected lesion is recommended. </strong></li></ul>
