Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Polypoid lesion composed of hyperplastic endocervical mucous glands and Nabothian cysts, covered by focally ulcerated columnar endocervical epithelium. Stroma is fibrotic and vascular and shows focal infiltration by inflammatory cells. No evidence of atypia or malignancy.</p>
<p>Cervical polyp.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Soft tissue fragments collectively measured 1.5x1x0.7 cm, totally embedded.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Cervix, polypectomy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Inflamed hyperplastic endocervical polyp with Nabothian cysts.</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for atypia.</strong></li></ul><p><br></p>
