Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Smears show unremarkable squamous cells, satisfactory for evaluation with present endocervical / transformation zone components. There is associated mild inflammatory changes without identified clue cells. Monilial hyphae and spore forms are identified. No evidence of viral or trichomonal infection. No evidence of atypical or malignant cells.</p>
<p>Pap smear for cytology examination</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Two unstained smears were as endocervix and ecto c ervix, both were stained with pap.</p>
<h3><strong><em><u>Pap smear, conventional cytology:</u></em></strong></h3><ul><li><strong>Satisfactory for evaluation.</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for intraepithelial lesion or malignancy (NILM).</strong></li><li><strong>Organisms: Monilia. </strong></li><li><strong>Mild neutrophilic infiltrate. </strong></li><li><strong>Clue cells are not identified. </strong></li></ul>
