<p class="ql-align-justify">Sections show polypoid gastric mucosal fragments with hyperplastic gastric glands featuring prominent foveolar hyperplasia, characterized by pit elongation and tortuosity. Associated moderate inflammatory infiltrate is noted. Moderate activity is evidenced by neutrophilic infiltration of the glandular epithelium. Luminal bacteria consistent with <em>Helicobacter pylori</em> are present.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Gastric fundal polyp removed by biopsy forceps.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Soft tissue fragments collectively measured 0.9 cm, totally embedded in one cassette</p>
