Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Benign tumor formed of whorly bundles of mature smooth muscles separated by a fibrous stroma. No evidence of malignancy.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">The patient presented with a small bowel obstruction secondary to adhesions and, on examination, was found to have a large, irregular, hard-to-firm mass extending from the uterine fundus to the cervix, from which a punch biopsy was taken.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Rubbery whitish soft tissue mass measured 2x1.7x1.5 cm, totally embedded.</p>
<p><strong><u>Cervical mass, punch biopsy:</u></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Leiomyoma.</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
