A meningeal tumor formed of proliferating meningothelial cells showing perivascular pseudopapillary formations. The cytoplasm of these cells is eosinophilic and abundant and cell borders are well-defined imparting an epithelial appearance on tumor. In other areas, the tumor is formed of more classic meningothelial cells with spindle configuration and ill-defined cell borders. The cells in these areas are often patternless but few foci are whorly. Despite cellularity yet mitotic activity is not elevated. Picture is consistent with papillary meningioma.
