<p class="ql-align-justify">Thyroid gland shows nodular hyperplasia where follicles are variable in size, full of thick colloid and lined by mature epithelium. There is focal follicular cystic change. Stroma shows focal fibrosis. No evidence of hyperfunction or malignancy. </p>
<p>Goiter with normal thyroid functions.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Lt. hemithyroidectomy specimen measures 5x3.5x3 cm, with intact capsule and multinodular colloid cut section.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Lt. Hemithyroidectomy</u></em></strong>:</p><ul><li><strong>Nodular colloid hyperplasia. </strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
