Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Gastric antral mucosa showing moderate infiltration by lymphocytes and plasma cells. There is evidence of inflammatory activity manifested by some neutrophils infiltrating glands. H. pylori characteristic forms are seen. No evidence of intestinal metaplasia, atypia or malignancy.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">History of severe gastritis with melena.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Soft tissue fragments collectively measured 0.9 cm, totally embedded in one cassette</p>
<h3><strong><em><u>Stomach, Endoscopic biopsy:</u></em></strong></h3><ul><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>H. pylori associated chronic gastritis with associated moderate inflammatory activity. </strong></li><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Negative for dysplasia or malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
