<p class="ql-align-justify">Gall bladder wall shows moderate to marked fibrosis with focal mucosal ulceration and moderate infiltration by neutrophils, lymphocytes and plasma cells that extends into the surrounding soft tissue. Glands exhibit focal cystic dilatation and appear to be entrapped within muscular coat (Rokitansky-Aschoff sinuses). No evidence of atypia or malignancy. One lymph node was identified showing reactive follicular lymphoid hyperplasia, free of metastatic deposits.</p>
<p>Chronic calcular cholecystitis</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Gallbladder measuring 6.5 x 2.5 cm, showing ulcerated mucosa and a thickened wall measuring up to 0.5 cm in thickness, with multiple yellow stones up to 1 cm</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Gall bladder, cholecystectomy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Acute of top of chronic calcular cholecystitis. </strong></li><li><strong>One cystic lymph node with reactive follicular lymphoid hyperplasia. </strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy.</strong></li></ul>
