Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Endometrium shows hyperplastic endometrial glands, is non-secretory, it is formed of slightly branched glands lined by 1-2 layers of cells. Stroma is cellular. No evidence of complex glandular pattern. Some of the hyperplaatic endometrial glands are seen embedded within superficial myometrium. Cervix show Napothian cysts. Rt. ovary and both tubes are unremarkable.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Adenomyosis with endometrial hyperplasia.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Total hysterectomy with bilateral salpingectomy and Rt. oopherectomy specimen showed a uterus measuring 9.5 x 6 x 4 cm with a 2 cm thick wall. Endometrial thickness was 0.5 cm. The cervix was 3.5 cm long. The right ovary measured 2 x 1.3 x 1 cm and was grossly unremarkable. Fallopian tubes measured 5 cm long, each, both were grossly unremarkable.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify"><strong><em><u>Total hysterectomy with bilateral salpingectomy and Rt. oophorectomy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Mild simple endometrial hyperplasia, negative for atypia. </strong></li><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Superficial adenomyosis. </strong></li><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Rt. ovary and both Fallopian tubes are unremarkable. </strong></li><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Negative for malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
