Menorrhagia was found to have an endometrial polyp and a submucosal fibroid.
Two biopsies were received:
1- Fibroid: rubbery circummscibed mass received into 5 soft tissue fragments measuring collectively 3 × 2.7 × 1.2 cm.
2- D&C Biopsy: fragmented soft tissue pieces measuring collectively 7.5 × 6.5 × 0.9 cm, totally embedded.
