Thyroid nodules diagnosed as papillary thyroid carcinoma by FNAC.
A total thyroidectomy specimen composed of a right lobe measuring 4×2.5×1.5 cm, a left lobe measuring 4×2×1 cm, and an isthmus measuring 1 cm. The thyroid capsule is intact. On cut section, the right lobe showed a firm whitish nodule measuring 2.5x2.8x1.5 cm, and the left lobe showed another nodule measuring 0.9x0.7x0.6 cm. The remaining thyroid tissue is soft with a multinodular brown appearance.
