Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Smear shows a moderate inflammatory cells predominantly of neutrophils, along with few lymphocytes and scattered histiocytes. No specific granulomas are identified. There is no cytologic evidence of atypia or malignancy.</p>
<p>Lt. knee swelling.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">One smear was prepared and stained from submitted 50 ml pale yellow fluid with pus.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Knee synovial fluid, conventional cytology:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Moderate inflammatory changes.</strong></li><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Negative for malignant cells.</strong></li></ul>
