Cystic tumor lined by proliferating ameloblasts exhibiting peripheral palisading of nuclei and central stellate loose reticulum. Wall show few nested structures with the same arrangement of cells. Fragments of unremarkable surface epithelium are also seen. No evidence of malignancy.
The patient presented with swelling in the left body of the mandible caused by a well-demarcated, buccolingually destructive lesion that yielded a bloody aspirate, prompting surgical excision of the cyst and extraction of the associated third and seventh molar teeth.
Two soft tissue pieces collectively measured 2.5x2x0.5 cm, with associated two teeth.
