Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Gastric mucosa showing mild atrophy of glands with mild infiltration by lymphocytes and plasma cells. There is evidence of inflammatory activity manifested by some neutrophils infiltrating glands. H. pylori characteristic forms are not seen. No evidence of intestinal metaplasia, atypia or malignancy.</p>
<p>Gastric biopsy.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Two soft tissue fragments collectively measured 0.4 cm, totally embedded.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Stomach, Endoscopic biopsy:</u></em> </strong></p><ul><li><strong>Moderate chronic active atrophic gastritis with minimal inflammatory activity. </strong></li><li><strong>H pylori not identified. </strong></li><li><strong>Negative for dysplasia or malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
