<p class="ql-align-justify">Smear is hemorrhagic showing few unremarkable squamous epithelial cells, admixed with few inflammatory changes. This sample is unsatisfactory for evaluation of epithelial cell abnormality (According to the Bethesda system for reporting cervical cytology).</p>
<p>Cervical erosion.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Three unstained smears were submitted, labeled as external os, internal os, and posterior vaginal fornix. All were pap stained.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Pap smear, conventional cytology:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Hemorrhagic and hypocellular material.</strong></li><li><strong>Unsatisfactory for evaluation of epithelial cell abnormality.</strong></li></ul>
