Submitted material showing totally ulcerated epithelium with atypical infiltrate composed of sheets of diffuse population of large round cells with vesicular nuclei and active mitosis. These sheets are separated by stroma rich in small lymphocytes. Focal necrosis is noted. Main possibilities are undifferentiated carcinoma and diffuse large cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Marker study is recommended for definitive diagnosis (CK, P63, EBV, CD20, CD3, CK5/6).
