<p class="ql-align-justify">Rt. thyroid nodule shows a benign tumor composed of small follicular formations lined by active follicular cells with a small amount of colloid in the majority of follicles. Separating stroma is delicate and vascular. No evidence of vascular invasion or panmural capsular infiltration. Res of thyroid tissue showing nodular colloid hyperplasia.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Rt. thyroid nodule in multinodular goiter.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Total thyroidectomy consisting of two thyroid lobes and an isthmus with intact capsule. The Rt. lobe measured 5.5 x 3 x 2.3 cm and showed a grey nodule measuring 4 x 2.5 x 2 cm. The Lt. lobe measured 4 x 2 x 1.5 cm and isthmus measured 1.5 cm, showing multinodular cut sections with intact capsule.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Total thyroidectomy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Rt. Lobe microfollicular adenoma.</strong></li><li><strong>Nodular colloid hyperplasia. </strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy.</strong></li></ul>
