<p class="ql-align-justify"> Submitted nodule is a soft tissue lesion formed of proliferating fibroblasts with focal storiform arrangement as well as clefting. These cells show mitotic activity but no evidence of abnormal forms. Some foci show increased collagen imparting a keloid-like pattern. Lesion shows focal infiltration by lymphocytes. No evidence of specific granulomas. Scattered ectatic blood vessels are seen. No evidence of malignancy. </p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Progressively enlarging mass at a previous vaccination site st left arm that has been increasing in size over the past year.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Soft tissue fragment measured 3x2.5x2 cm, showing cyst measuring 2 cm, totally embedded.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Lt. Arm swelling, excision biopsy: </u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Nodular fasciitis. </strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
